Practical Talent Development... Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group and Hotel Nongshim Sign Agreement on 'Talent Development through Industry-Academia Cooperation' Officials from Dongseo University and Hotel Nongshim are taking a group commemorative photo after signing the agreement.


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group and Hotel Nongshim recently signed an agreement on ‘Human Resource Development through Industry-Academia Cooperation’ at Hotel Nongshim Opal Room.


The signing ceremony was attended by key officials from both organizations, including Hwang Ki-hyun, head of Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group, and Hong Seong-ung, general manager of Hotel Nongshim.


To overcome the shortage of professional manpower caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, the two organizations agreed to jointly cultivate practical talents who can be immediately deployed on site.


Through the agreement, the two organizations promised ▲ joint operation of human resource development and standardized field training ▲ mutual cooperation to revitalize Busan’s tourism and cultural industry ▲ active cooperation in promoting industry-academia cooperation with local industries.


The Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group plans to actively promote cooperation with Hotel Nongshim through the DX Tourism ICC, a part of the Corporate Collaboration Center (ICC) specialized in the tourism and cultural industry.


Hwang Ki-hyun, head of Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group, said, “To cultivate talents needed by the region, we plan to actively utilize the human and material infrastructure of the Dongseo University LINC 3.0 Project Group and explore various cooperation methods with Hotel Nongshim,” adding, “We also plan to actively promote the development of content that can revitalize the local tourism industry.”
