The main contents of the business agreement between the two institutions include ▲supporting tuition fees and education for employees in the region enrolled in AI master’s and doctoral programs (‘Support for employees’ master’s and doctoral programs’ with 90% tuition coverage, up to 10 million KRW) ▲‘Project development based on regional industry demand’ where university researchers and companies conduct joint research ▲‘Practical AI talent development’ that trains young people as AI and other specialists and links them to employment to create jobs ▲and ‘Resident education programs’ to expand the AI base.

Jeon Seong-su, Mayor of Seocho-gu, said, “Through this business agreement, we will spare no support for excellent local talent with rich field experience to become outstanding practical convergence talents through customized education, and we hope Seocho-gu will become the cornerstone for leaping forward as Korea’s AI innovation city.”
