September 18 to October 16 Currency Exchange Rate Discount, Air Busan's New Route Launch: Busan~Bangkok
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] BNK Busan Bank is conducting the 'Let's-Go! Currency Exchange Festival' for foreign currency exchange customers until September 16.
During the event period, individual customers who exchange an amount equivalent to USD 500 or more at all Busan Bank branches (excluding Gimhae Airport and International Passenger Terminal) will receive up to 70% preferential exchange rates depending on the currency type, along with various prizes.
To commemorate Air Busan's new 'Busan-Bangkok' route, foreign currency exchange customers will be entered into a draw to win ▲ Air Busan Southeast Asia round-trip tickets (4 people) ▲ GoPro HERO10 (1 person) ▲ Apple AirPods Pro (3 people) ▲ 100,000 KRW worth of National Tourism Gift Certificates (15 people).
Customers who use Busan Bank's currency exchange service and hold an Air Busan boarding pass will also receive an 'Air Busan Travel Kit' consisting of earplugs, an eye mask, and slippers. The travel kit can be collected at the Busan Bank currency exchange booth on the 2nd floor of Gimhae Airport International Terminal.
Additionally, currency exchange customers will receive ▲ membership upgrades and discount coupons for Shinsegae Duty Free Busan branch ▲ and the first 2,022 customers will be given 2,000 KRW currency exchange discount coupons usable at branches.
Kim Su-hye, head of Busan Bank's Foreign Exchange Division, said, "With the normalization of international routes, we prepared this partnership event with the regional representative airline Air Busan to provide various benefits and travel-related prizes to customers preparing for overseas travel."
In March, Busan Bank launched a non-face-to-face integrated 'Currency Exchange & Safe Deposit' service that allows customers to simultaneously exchange foreign currency, store it, and have cash delivered, offering customers high preferential exchange rates and opportunities for exchange rate arbitrage.
