Post-Corona Design, 'A New Journey'... Professor Jo Jeong-hyeong of Pukyong National University Hosts International Design Exhibition and Seminar Participants of the International Design Exhibition invited by Pukyong National University are taking a commemorative photo at the design seminar.


[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Hwang Doo-yeol] Professor Cho Jeong-hyeong of Pukyong National University held the ‘2022 Pukyong National University Invitational International Design Exhibition and Design Seminar’ for three days from the 11th to the 13th at Dongwon Jangbogo Hall of Pukyong National University.


Professor Cho invited the Korean Society of Marine Design, the Korean Society of Public Design, and the Korean Design Research Society, where he serves as president, to hold events including design exhibitions, academic presentations, and joint seminars.


The event was attended by design experts from more than eight countries including Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Italy, China, the United States, Croatia, and Vietnam.


The event featured a joint academic seminar of the three societies under the theme of the international design exhibition ‘Reopening Unboxing: Preparing for the Post-Corona Era, a Newly Opening World, a New Journey.’


At the seminar, presentations and discussions were held including ▲Dr. Lee Hyung-bok of Daejeon Sejong Institute, affiliated with the Korean Society of Public Design, on ‘Development Directions of Public Spaces in Children's Parks’ ▲Professor Lee Hyun-sung of Hongik University on ‘Cases and Trends of Tactical Urbanism’ ▲Professor Lee Ji-hyun of KAIST, affiliated with the Korean Design Research Society, on ‘Placemaking in Urban Informatics’ ▲Kim Jeong-tae, CEO of Taehee Construction, affiliated with the Korean Society of Marine Design, on ‘Development of Korean-style Marina City’ ▲and Jang Seok-jeong, Secretary General of the Korean Society of Marine Design, on ‘Current Status and Directions of Marine Design,’ along with an introduction to Pukyong National University’s marine design field.
