Gochang Cultural Tourism Foundation Recruiting Participants for 'Today Mom is the Teacher' Program

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] The Jeonbuk Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation announced on the 15th that it is recruiting participants for the project "Today, Mom is the Teacher," a cultural arts education program for children in the region.

"Today, Mom is the Teacher" is a 2022 regional cultural workforce project hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Regional Culture Promotion Agency, and organized by the Gochang Culture and Tourism Foundation. It supports mothers in directly planning and operating child-centered programs.

Eligible participants are families residing in Gochang-gun with children aged 6 to 10, and the program will be conducted from the 13th to the 21st of next month after expert training in early next month.

The project is an activity for local families to form communities and continuously operate programs for children.

The four families finally selected must have at least one parent act as an instructor to plan and operate the program once each, participating in a total of four sessions.

A foundation official said, "Since children's programs have been lacking in the Gochang area, this will be a special cultural enjoyment opportunity for participating children, so we hope for much interest and participation from residents."

Applications can be submitted by downloading the application form from the foundation's website notice board and submitting it by the 21st.
