Idus Korea Co., Ltd. Brand Puradak Chicken Signs Master Franchise Agreement in Hong Kong

The oven-fried chicken brand 'Puradak Chicken,' operated by its headquarters, Eiders Korea Co., Ltd., has signed a Master Franchise Agreement (MOU) with New World F&B for expansion into Hong Kong.

The signing ceremony was held with the attendance of Eiders Korea CEO Jang Seong-sik and New World F&B CEO Kim Se-jun, along with other representatives from both companies.

Through this agreement, they will actively pursue entry into the Hong Kong market and pledge to collaborate on securing Puradak Chicken's foothold in the global market based on thorough commercial area analysis, marketing, and localization strategies.

New World F&B, contracted with Puradak Chicken, is a Korean food service specialist company in Hong Kong with 27 years of experience and know-how. It is growing based on systematic sourcing of Korean dining items and a solid distribution infrastructure locally. Puradak Chicken plans to accelerate its global market entry through synergy with a local company that has a deep understanding of regional sentiments.

Jang Seong-sik, CEO of Eiders Korea, said, "This MOU signing will be a great opportunity for Puradak Chicken to establish a foothold for overseas expansion," adding, "Above all, I hope it will serve as a bridgehead to accelerate globalization by gaining recognition for Puradak Chicken's product quality and marketability in the Hong Kong market."

Meanwhile, Eiders Korea's Puradak opened its first test store in the Philippines in April 2016, confirming the potential to target the global food service franchise market beyond Korea.

Puradak is an oven-fried chicken brand that launched its brand and franchise business in 2015 under the slogan "Chicken, becoming cuisine."
