Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Delivers 'Summer Kits' to 150 Vulnerable Households


[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization delivered 'Summer Kits' to vulnerable groups in the province to help them cope with the hot summer.


On the 14th, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced that it supported the Gyeonggi branch of the Korean Red Cross with 1.5 million KRW to produce Summer Kits to be distributed to 150 vulnerable households in the province.


A representative of the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization said, "We hope that essential summer items such as mosquito repellents will be helpful to our neighbors in need," and added, "We will continue to strive for ongoing sharing activities and the practice of ESG management."


Meanwhile, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization is actively working on ESG management, including signing an MOU for the 'Gyeonggi-do Tantan-daero Joint Campaign' on the 29th of last month.


This campaign involves the Gyeonggi Volunteer Center and a total of 14 public institutions and private companies in the province, carrying out activities such as ▲ establishing strategic partnerships to overcome the climate crisis ▲ discovering and supporting leading projects for carbon neutrality ▲ efforts for sustainable management (ESG) as public institutions and companies ▲ practical activities for the sustainable development of Gyeonggi-do, overcoming the climate crisis, and restoring a green environment.
