Life Wisdom Learned from 'European Mythology'... Gijang-gun Recruiting Students for 'Gijang Library Wisdom School' Promotional poster for recruiting students for the 'This Year's Gijang Library Wisdom School' course.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Gijang-gun Gijang Library is recruiting students for the '2022 Gijang Library Wisdom School,' an advanced discussion-based humanities learning program conducted directly by university professors in collaboration with local humanities colleges.

'Library Wisdom School' is a public project hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Library Association. It supports humanities learning activities for the middle-aged generation to promote a wise elderly life and the social value of the humanities.

Busan 'Gijang Library' was selected as a participating library last April.

Under the theme 'Life Wisdom Learned from European Mythology,' Professor Yoon Tae-won of the Glocal Culture Department at Kyungsung University will conduct lectures every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., totaling 12 sessions from August 4 to October 20.

The course is open to 20 adults, and registration begins on the 13th on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications can be made through the cultural lecture tab on the Gijang Library website, by visiting in person, or by phone.

For more details, please refer to the Gijang Library website or contact the Gijang Library team.
