Doubling the Corporate Value
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Shinhan Financial Group shared the achievements of nurturing startups in collaboration with Google. They supported 20 startups, attracting investments worth 28.2 billion KRW and doubling their corporate value.
On the 13th, Shinhan Financial Group announced that it held a performance sharing event to commemorate the first anniversary of the partnership with Google Startup Campus (GFS) for startup cultivation at 'Shinhan Square Bridge Incheon' in Songdo, Incheon.
Since signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with GFS in July last year, the group has jointly nurtured 20 smart city startups through its startup cultivation platform, 'Shinhan Square Bridge Incheon,' achieving investment attraction of 28.2 billion KRW, doubling corporate value, and establishing global partnerships.
Based on this, Shinhan Financial was also selected as a GFS global partner this year. Going forward, supported startups will be able to receive a wider range of benefits provided by Google, including ▲Google Academy programs ▲networking with global partners and startups from 60 countries ▲Google AdWords credits ▲global venture capital (VC) and founder workshops.
Additionally, on the same day, Shinhan Financial conducted the '2022 Shinhan Square Bridge Incheon Accelerating Membership Orientation.' The 15 startups selected this time will receive various support from Shinhan Financial, GFS, Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, and Celltrion, including ▲customized solution consulting ▲open innovation and demonstration opportunities ▲dedicated funds and investment linkage ▲connection to Google programs and networks.
