[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Gun-chan] Rapper Yoon Byung-ho (22, stage name Blidabastard), who appeared on 'High School Rapper,' has been arrested again on drug use charges.
On the 12th, the Gyeyang Police Station in Incheon announced that Yoon was arrested on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
According to the police, Yoon is suspected of using drugs such as marijuana and methamphetamine at his home in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon earlier this month.
The police arrested Yoon at his home on the morning of the 9th and seized 1 gram of methamphetamine and four syringes he possessed.
The police collected Yoon's urine and hair samples and conducted a preliminary reagent test. The results showed a positive reaction for drugs. Yoon also tested positive in the first test conducted by the National Forensic Service, and a detailed examination is currently underway.
During the police investigation, Yoon admitted to purchasing and using drugs from a dealer he met through social networking services (SNS).
Yoon has a prior record of being caught and punished for drug use.
In November 2020, he revealed on his SNS that he had been using drugs since middle school and stated, "I quit drugs in April 2020 and turned myself in to the police."
In October of last year, he appeared in a YouTube video sharing his experience with drug addiction and warned about the dangers of drugs by discussing the side effects of fentanyl, a medical narcotic.
