Jindo County Council Begins Communication and Legislative Work with Local Institutions and Organizations


[Jindo=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] The 9th Jeonnam Jindo County Council's first half leadership team has begun active communication and legislative activities by visiting local institutions and organizations.


This visit was conducted to announce the election of Chairman Jang Young-woo and Vice Chairman Kim Chun-hwa, who were elected on the 5th, and to listen to the current issues of each institution, with the intention of actively communicating with the residents in the future.


From the 6th for three days, they visited a total of 22 places, including institutions closely related to residents' lives such as NH Nonghyup Bank, Korea Rural Community Corporation, Korea Electric Power Corporation, and National Health Insurance Jindo Branch, as well as educational organizations like Jindo Middle School, Jindo High School, and the Education Support Office, and social organizations such as the Junior Chamber, the Korea Senior Citizens Association, and the Jindo branch of the Federation of Artistic & Cultural Organizations, requesting close communication and cooperation.


Chairman Jang Young-woo said, "It was a valuable opportunity to hear the vivid voices from the field regarding local issues, which helped establish the direction the council should take in the future," and added, "We will do our best to become a Jindo County Council that realizes local autonomy where residents are the owners by discovering policies that residents can feel, and maintaining continuous and close relationships with related institutions for local development."


Meanwhile, the 9th Jindo County Council has set communication with residents as its top legislative priority and plans to continue cooperating with institutions and social organizations.
