[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education will hold an explanatory session on the 19th to enhance the usability of the Ministry of Education's AI elementary math learning support system, "Ddokddok! Math Expedition." A session was also held once on the 12th.
The system, which was previously supported for nationwide elementary school grades 1 to 2, will be expanded to be available for grades 3 to 4 starting in August. Guidance materials will be distributed to field teachers, and explanatory sessions will be held.
At the explanatory session, the Gangbuk area session was held on the 12th, and the Gangnam area session will be held on the 19th. A total of about 240 homeroom teachers for grades 1 to 4 will learn about the improved functions of the system for grades 1 to 2 and the content installation and usage methods for grades 3 to 4.
"Ddokddok! Math Expedition" is a system that provides curriculum activities, unit/session/occasional/diagnostic evaluations, digital teaching aids, free activities, and concept explanation videos. It supports personalized individual learning for students through big data-based AI recommended activities.
Teachers can utilize the system for lessons and evaluations and use the student management function to check each student's activity status and achievement.
Students can access learning anytime and anywhere via web or app at school or home.
An official from the city education office said, "The education office is expanding the distribution of student smart pads, so actively using Ddokddok! Math Expedition in the educational field will enable personalized individual learning for students," adding, "We expect the program to greatly help reduce the learning gap in mathematics."
