Chungbuk Real Estate Market Active... 'Cheongju Heungdeok Cantaville New' Sale

The real estate market in Chungcheongbuk-do continues its upward trend. An analysis of KB Real Estate Live On time series data shows that Chungbuk recorded the second highest house price increase nationwide over the past year.


Investment demand from outsiders is also steadily flowing in. Additionally, the new housing market is gaining momentum. Last month, ‘Cheongju Heungdeok Cantaville De New’ closed all types of subscriptions in the first priority local area. Out of a total of 1,097 households, 543 general supply units (excluding special supply) attracted 10,979 subscription applications, resulting in an average competition rate of 20.2 to 1. This is the highest average competition rate among complexes launched in Cheongju this year.


An industry insider stated, “Cheongju city center and Osong are regulated areas, but Cheongju Heungdeok Cantaville De New, which has no restrictions on resale of pre-sale rights or re-winning, is expected to provide subscription winning opportunities for real demand buyers with low scores and homeowners planning to relocate.” He added, “At Cheongju Heungdeok Cantaville De New, household members and homeowners can also apply in the first priority subscription.”

Meanwhile, Daewon Co., Ltd. will launch the ‘Cheongju Heungdeok Cantaville De New’ apartment complex in Gangnae-myeon, Cheongju-si, Chungbuk, this July.


Cheongju Heungdeok Cantaville De New consists of 334 households in 4 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to a maximum of 22 floors above ground, with exclusive areas of 59 to 84㎡. The complex is arranged mainly facing south with wide distances between buildings to secure abundant natural light and views. Specialized designs such as a 4-bay slab-type structure and wide living rooms are applied, and some units offer ample storage spaces including large walk-in dressing rooms and pantries.


The location is excellent. Gangnae-myeon, Heungdeok-gu, where the complex is located, is very advantageous geographically, being close to the Sejong-Cheongju Expressway, Gangnae IC, Gyeongbu Expressway Cheongju IC, and Osong Station (KTX, SRT). Furthermore, with consecutive favorable developments such as the announcement of the KAIST Medical Research Campus within the Osong 3rd Life Science National Industrial Complex, it is considered a region with high future value.


Osong Station adjacent to Cheongju Heungdeok Cantaville De New is a key railway transportation hub in the central region, providing access to the metropolitan area within 30 minutes via the KTX Gyeongbu Line and SRT Suseo High-Speed Railway. Last year, the Railway Administration selected the site and is designing the 2nd Railway Traffic Control Center here. Large shopping facilities such as Homeplus, Hyundai Department Store, and Lotte Outlet, as well as Chungbuk National University Hospital, Hana Hospital, and Cheongju Hyundai Hospital, can be reached within about 15 minutes by car.


Meanwhile, Cheongju Heungdeok Cantaville De New plans to open a model house, with move-in scheduled for January 2025.
