Gwangju Nambu Fire Station "Participate in the 119 Emergency First Aid Video Contest"

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Nambu Fire Station announced on the 7th that it is holding the '119 Emergency Treatment Video Contest' to spread a culture of safety in daily life and encourages active participation.

This contest replaces the annual cardiopulmonary resuscitation competition with an online event due to COVID-19. It is hosted by the National Fire Agency, organized by the Korea Fire Safety Institute, and supported by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, and the Korean Red Cross.

The submission period is 50 days from July 11 to August 29, and entries can be submitted through the Korea Fire Broadcasting website.

Submitted works will undergo online voting open to the entire nation and expert evaluation, with the final winners announced in October.

Videos should be produced and submitted within 5 minutes, either reenacting actual emergency treatment cases, creating simulated scenarios, or introducing emergency treatment methods for various disease or injury situations. Anyone in the public can participate.

Award-winning works will be widely used as fire safety promotional materials and educational resources to promote a culture of safety.

For more details about participating in the contest, contact the National Fire Agency 119 Life Safety Division or check the Korea Fire Safety Institute website.
