Rimankorea Receives Minister of Environment Award at the 2022 Korea Environmental Awards

Limanco Korea Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Kyung-jung) received the Minister of Environment Award at the '2022 Korea Environmental Awards.'

Now in its 17th year, the Korea Environmental Awards is hosted by the Korea Environmental Awards Committee (Chairman Lee Kyu-yong), the Future in Our Hands Association, and Environmental Media, with support from the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries. The event is conducted through a nationwide public contest.

This award ceremony aims to encourage local governments, public institutions, companies, and individuals striving to realize a sustainable eco-friendly society. As it is regarded as a prestigious award in the environmental sector of Korea, Limanco Korea has been externally recognized for its efforts in establishing an environmental management system, including resource reduction and improving product environmental performance.

Limanco Korea has been working to reduce environmental impact while maintaining the intrinsic design quality required for cosmetics and personal care products by establishing and operating the 'RK Sustainable Packaging Operation Strategy.'

According to the company, they have built a '3R system' by pursuing resource reduction through avoiding excessive packaging via Reduce (2021~), using recycled materials and designing for easy recycling through Recycled (2022~), and increasing the usability of renewable materials by developing Renewable (2025~) containers.
