Woori Bank Offers 0.3%P Preferential Interest Rate Event for Citi Bank Customers

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Woori Bank has launched the ‘Welcome Citi’ event, offering a preferential interest rate of 0.3 percentage points to Korea Citi Bank customers.

According to Woori Bank on the 7th, Citi Bank users who do not hold Woori Bank time deposits can subscribe to the ‘WON Plus Deposit’ and receive a preferential interest rate coupon of 0.3 percentage points. The maximum interest rate when using the coupon is 3.40% per annum as of this date. The coupon is provided up to a total deposit amount limit of 1 trillion KRW and will end early once the limit is reached.

There is also an event for high-net-worth clients of Citi Bank. Citi Bank PB customers who subscribe to financial products such as deposits, funds, or trusts through Woori WON Banking or branches will receive department store gift certificates according to the subscription amount. The 13 PBs recruited from Citi Bank to Woori Bank’s TCE Signature Center earlier this year will also provide asset management consulting.

A Woori Bank official stated, “We are preparing various measures to enable Citi Bank customers to conveniently use Woori Bank,” and added, “We will provide more competitive financial products in the future.”
