- Biggest Concern in Apartment Complexes... Soundproof Rooms for Noise Prevention
- 167 Large to Mid-Sized Units of 99~239㎡ with High-End Designs Including Penthouse, Duplex, and Attic Types Planned
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of people staying at home has increased, and interest in home life has grown. In particular, as more consumers prefer residential spaces with various specialized designs and high-end styles in medium to large-sized units, inquiries about high-end products are on the rise.
Experts predict that the popularity of high-end products in medium to large-sized units will continue. It is analyzed that consumers, who have become accustomed to spending leisure time at home due to the prolonged pandemic, are likely to prioritize home life and relaxation when choosing a residence.
Amid this trend, the multi-family housing complex "Aju The High Class Jeju," scheduled to be supplied in the second half of this year in Hangyeong-myeon, Jeju City, is attracting attention.
Aju The High Class Jeju will offer 167 households composed exclusively of medium to large units with exclusive areas ranging from 99 to 239㎡. The complex will feature high-end residential designs such as penthouses, maisonettes (duplex types), and attics (loft types). It boasts a comfortable environment by maximizing the distance between buildings and arranges all units primarily facing south to maximize natural light and ventilation.
Special spaces for housewives, such as dual-way entrances and LDK (Living, Dining, Kitchen) face-to-face specialized kitchens, are also planned. The construction will use advanced moisture-resistant techniques and eco-friendly antibacterial ceramic materials. An underground parking lot will be provided for all households, securing a generous parking space of 1.9 cars per household.
Additionally, a soundproof room (optional) will be provided to prevent noise, which is a major concern in multi-family housing. The larger usable area allows for more convenient living, which is another advantage.
The complex will be supplied as private rental housing, allowing anyone aged 19 or older to apply regardless of home ownership or income level. Thanks to its private rental status, subleasing and resale are free, making it highly valuable for investment. Residents can live without worrying about rent or market price drops for 10 years. It is also free from various taxes and exempt from multi-homeowner regulations, attracting strong interest from investors.
Moreover, Aju The High Class Jeju is a complex that embraces both pristine natural surroundings and abundant living infrastructure. It is close to the English Education City, making commuting to international schools or academies located there convenient. The Jeju English Education City, which is 1.4 times the size of Yeouido in Seoul, currently operates four international schools: North London Collegiate School Jeju (NLCS), Branksome Hall Asia (BHA), St. Johnsbury Academy Jeju (SJA), and Korea International School (KIS).
Aju The High Class Jeju plans to operate its own shuttle bus for commuting to and from Jeju English Education City to ensure children's safety. Additionally, the complex offers a safe educational environment where students can walk to Jeocheong Elementary and Jeocheong Middle Schools.
Within a 30km radius are Jeju Airport and Seogwipo Port, allowing quick travel anywhere nationwide. The Junganggan Road provides fast access to Jeju City’s central living area, and the Pyeongharo Road offers convenient travel to Seogwipo and Jungmun.
The complex is surrounded by natural environments such as Jeju Shinhwa History Park, Jeju Gotjawal Provincial Park, Hallasan Mountain, the sea, Sanbangsan Mountain, Neopgeo Oreum, and Jeoji Oreum. Nearby attractions include Shinhwa World, O’sulloc Tea Museum, the Space Museum, and Shinsegae Outlet. It is also convenient to use the rich living infrastructure of Jeju city center, including convenience and public facilities in Hallim-eup.
A real estate industry official said, “Complexes that are well-equipped with infrastructure such as transportation and education, while also offering a pleasant natural environment, are scarce and attract strong interest from consumers. Especially in Jeju Island, complexes with well-established infrastructure are preferred for living, drawing a large number of consumers.”
