Gathering Residents' Opinions on City Bus Usage to Enhance Interest in Public Transportation
[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Kim Kyung-hyun, chairman of the Muan County Council in Jeollanam-do, attracted attention on the 4th by taking the public bus used by residents to commute to the council.
The chairman took bus number 200 near his home in Dorim-ri, Cheonggye-myeon, got off at Seongdong-ri, Muan-eup, and walked to the council office.
He also checked whether there were any inconveniences in using the public bus and listened to the voices of the residents using the service on site.
Chairman Kim said, "While participating in the opening ceremony of the newly launched 9th Muan County Council, I want to be with the residents in their daily lives and listen more to the voices from the field," expressing his thoughts on using public transportation.
