'Village of Ghosts' in Our Hands... Gijang-gun Recruiting Participants for the 5th 1318 HalloHallo Youth Festival

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Busan Gijang-gun is recruiting youths who will directly plan and operate the ‘5th 1318 HalloHallo Youth Festival’ until the 30th.

This festival is a representative local youth event themed around Halloween, encouraging youth-led healthy play and leisure activities. It was not held for the past two years due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. This year, it will be held on October 22 around Jeonggwan Central Park.

The festival, held for the first time in three years, will consist of ▲Youth Policy Fair ▲15 Youth Experience Booths ▲Youth Performance Fair ▲Intergenerational Jeonggwan Group Karaoke ▲EDM Performance ▲Halloween Parade with 100 HalloKing and HalloQueen participants ▲Ghost Playground, Photo Zone, and other themed streets.

Gijang-gun is recruiting participants for the Festival Promotion Committee so that youths can directly participate in planning and executing the festival themselves.

They are recruiting 6 presenters for the Youth Policy Fair, 2 MCs for the Youth Policy Fair, 15 teams to operate the Youth Experience Booths, 15 teams for the Youth Performance Fair, 100 HalloKing and HalloQueen participants, 10 members for the HalloHallo Monitoring Advisory Group, and 10 members for the HalloHallo Photo and Video Shooting Team in the first round.

Youths wishing to participate can refer to the announcements on the Gijang-gun Office website and submit the application form by the 30th.

A Gijang-gun official said, “We hope that youths who have experienced physical and emotional difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic will regain daily life recovery and vitality by directly participating in and experiencing the festival.”
