Gurye-gun, Yoo Young-kwang Appointed as Deputy Governor

We Will Do Our Best to Become an Eco-Friendly Organic Farming City and a Leading Healing Industry City

[Gurye=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yuk Miseok] Yoo Young-kwang, former Director of Cultural Resources at Jeonnam Province, was inaugurated as the Deputy Governor of Gurye County, Jeonnam, on the 5th.

Deputy Governor Yoo, a native of Gangjin, graduated from Gwangju Kumho High School and Chosun University’s Department of Architecture, and completed graduate studies at Chonnam National University.

Since his promotion to Local Facilities Officer at Gwangyang Office in 2008, he has worked at the National Architecture Policy Committee and the Yeosu World Expo Organizing Committee.

In 2020, he was promoted to Local Technical Officer and served as Director of the Cultural Resources Division of the Tourism, Culture, and Sports Bureau of Jeonnam Province. Following the personnel appointment of Jeollanam-do on the 5th, he assumed the position of Deputy Governor of Gurye County.

Deputy Governor Yoo Young-kwang said, “I am honored to join in building Gurye, a city of life where nature breathes, during the 8th local government term,” and added, “I will do my best to help Gurye County leap forward as the nation’s top eco-friendly organic farming city and a leading city in the healing industry.”
