According to the Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters and Haeundae Police Station on the 5th, around 8:45 a.m. on the 4th, a 22-month-old girl, A, was hit by a daycare bus inside an apartment complex in Haeundae-gu, Busan.

The accident occurred when A's older brother was boarding the daycare bus to go to school, and A walked away from her guardian and went in front of the bus.

A was immediately transported to the hospital after the accident and received treatment but suffered severe head injuries and ultimately passed away that morning.

The daycare bus driver, Mr. B (in his 60s), reportedly stated during the police investigation that he did not notice A in time.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
