"Health-Boosting Ramen" Samyang Foods Launches Summer Limited Edition 'Heuk Samgyetangmyeon'

Unique Samgyetang Noodles with Rich Dark Brown Broth

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Samyang Foods announced on the 6th that it will release a unique health-boosting ramen, 'Heuk Samgyetangmyeon,' as a summer limited edition to welcome the upcoming hot summer days known as Sambok.

Heuk Samgyetangmyeon features a rich dark brown broth made using soy sauce, black pepper, and black sesame, with a sweet flavor enhanced by garlic. In addition to garlic and green onion flakes, a seasoned oil infused with ginseng scent was added to allow consumers to enjoy the distinctive flavor and rich umami of Samgyetang. Heuk Samgyetangmyeon is available only in bagged noodles and will be produced only until September as a summer limited edition product.

A Samyang Foods representative said, "Heuk Samgyetangmyeon is a product targeting consumers who want to conveniently enjoy health-boosting food during the hot summer with the concept of fighting heat with heat." He added, "It will strengthen a new position in the summer seasonal noodle market, which is mainly dominated by bibimmyeon."
