[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jung-wan] As the side of Kim Sung-jin, CEO of iKist, who claims to have provided sexual favors to Lee Jun-seok, leader of the People Power Party, asserted that they received a photo presumed to be the 'Park Geun-hye watch' from Lee, the leader sarcastically said, "(Kim Sung-jin's) words are gradually becoming inconsistent."
On the 5th, Lee shared articles quoting the statements made by Kim's side on his Facebook, criticizing, "The contents start to change with each statement."
Lee stated, "The claim that I delivered the watch, which was first distributed to independence activists on August 15, to him on August 15 itself is not even correct in terms of timing," adding, "His words are gradually becoming inconsistent."
He added, "Also, he said that I introduced businessmen and politicians and arranged for them to have former President Park Geun-hye visit their company, but today he says that meeting them happened after Park Geun-hye's visit," emphasizing, "The contents start to change with each statement."

Earlier, Kim's side claimed during the first police interview on the 30th of last month as a witness that on July 11, 2013, they entertained Lee at a room salon in Daejeon and requested him to get a Park Geun-hye watch, and about a month later, on August 15 of the same year, they received the watch as a gift from Lee.
Kim So-yeon, the legal representative of Kim's side, held a press conference at Seoul Detention Center in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province, stating, "This morning, we received a photo of the Park Geun-hye watch that an iKist employee had received from Kim and kept," adding, "It is indeed a watch with former President Park's name on it." She further said, "After listening to Kim's statement and verifying the facts, we will reveal the photo of the watch in the evening."
