[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] An organization has been formed to prepare for the confirmation hearing of Yoon Hee-geun, the nominee for Commissioner General of the National Police Agency.

It was reported on the 5th that Kim Soon-ho, Director of the Security Investigation Bureau of the National Police Agency, will serve as the head of Yoon's confirmation hearing preparation team. Generally, the head of the preparation team for the Commissioner General nominee is at the rank of Senior Superintendent General, but this time the position will be held by a Police Commissioner.

When Kim Chang-ryong, who recently resigned, was the nominee, the preparation team was composed of a total of 17 members, including a head at the Senior Superintendent General level, but this time the team is expected to be slightly smaller.

The government is expected to send the confirmation hearing request for nominee Yoon to the National Assembly within this week. The preparation team will communicate with nominee Yoon at the National Police Agency, where he is currently assigned, to prepare for the confirmation hearing.
