Housing Finance Corporation Supports Local Talent

Scholarships and Learning Support Devices Delivered to 70 Middle and High School Students in Busan

On the 5th, the HF Local Talent Scholarship Award Ceremony is being held.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) delivered the ‘HF Regional Talent Scholarship’ to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation Busan Regional Headquarters to foster talent in the Busan area.

HF Corporation provided scholarships and wireless earphones for study to 70 exemplary middle and high school students in Busan, who were recommended by the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education and selected by the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation.

Since relocating its headquarters to Busan in 2014, HF Corporation has taken the lead in social contribution activities to nurture local talent, awarding scholarships to 360 regional talents up to this year.

President Choi Jun-woo said, “I hope the scholarships will help young people pursue their dreams even a little,” and added, “HF Corporation will continue to support youth in various ways so that they can grow into talents who contribute to the future development of the local community.”
