Gubokgyu, Hwasun County Governor, Presents 'County Administration Direction' at Regular Assembly

[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Ji-woon] On the 5th, Hwasun County Governor Gu Bok-gyu gave a presentation (PT) at the first regular meeting of the 8th elected term after his inauguration, outlining the direction of county administration for the 8th elected term and requesting cooperation and collaboration from public officials and residents.

This was the first time that the county governor directly presented the county administration goals, policies, and implementation tasks to public officials and residents through a PT at a regular meeting.

This move reflects Governor Gu Bok-gyu’s usual emphasis on “field-centered communication administration” and provides insight into his approach to county administration, aiming to share the direction of county governance with public officials and residents.

At the regular meeting, not only public officials but also heads of villages and towns, local residents, and regional reporters participated, drawing attention. All staff from towns and villages and village heads watched the regular meeting via video at each town and village administrative welfare center.

During the approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes, Governor Gu explained the county administration goals such as “Renewing Hwasun, Making Residents Happy,” the five major county administration policies, eight major promotion strategies, 70 implementation tasks, and personnel management directions.

The eight major promotion strategies include establishing a vibrant organizational culture through fairness and innovation, implementing customized trustworthy administration where residents are the owners, building cultural tourism infrastructure to realize the top tourism destination in the Namdo region, creating a prosperous Hwasun where farmers earn high income, fostering an educational city that gives dreams and hope, revitalizing the local economy by nurturing new growth future industries, realizing a warm welfare Hwasun where residents are happy, and expanding SOC for creating a pleasant living environment.

Governor Gu Bok-gyu said, “For the successful voyage of the 8th elected term, I hope all public officials do their best in their respective positions,” and added, “Please strive to ensure that the 8th elected term meets the expectations and desires of the residents and that the county administration goal of ‘Renewing Hwasun, Making Residents Happy’ is realized.”
