Chairman Kim Hyuk-sung, Vice Chairman Kwon Oh-hyun Elected
[Sinan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] The Sinan County Council in Jeollanam-do successfully completed its organizational formation on the 1st and held the opening ceremony of the 9th Sinan County Council on Monday, July 4.
At the 304th Sinan County Council extraordinary session held on the 1st, Kim Hyuk-seong (2nd term) was elected as chairman, and Kwon Oh-yeon (3rd term) was elected as vice chairman.
Additionally, Kim Ki-man (3rd term) was elected as the chair of the Steering Committee, Ahn Won-jun (2nd term) as the chair of the Administrative Welfare Committee, and Lee Sang-ju (2nd term) as the chair of the Industry and Construction Committee, completing the formation of the leadership team for the first half of the 9th Sinan County Council.
Chairman Kim Hyuk-seong expressed in his opening remarks, “I sincerely thank the residents who chose us as their local workers and entrusted us as a solemn hall of public opinion to reflect the diverse opinions of the residents in county administration. We will operate a reformative and efficient council as a pioneer for the welfare of the residents and the development of the local community.”
He continued, “We will do our best to realize an open council faithful to public opinion, establish a policy council that researches and practices, and establish a responsible council with checks and balances.”
