The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 5th that a manufacturing defect was found in a total of 599 skid loaders of 12 models produced or imported and sold by Hyundai Genuine and Inseung, and a recall (corrective action) will be conducted starting from the 15th.
Among them, 527 skid loaders from Hyundai Genuine and Inseung were sold with a top speed higher than the approved model, but after review by a professional institution, it was confirmed that there is no safety issue, and the model will be corrected to match the construction machinery.
Additionally, each manufacturer plans to provide consumables such as engine oil and air conditioning filters to compensate owners for economic losses due to construction machinery registration changes (model corrections).
Furthermore, 72 skid loaders from Inseung were sold without the construction machinery specification sheet attached, which may cause issues such as poor management due to insufficient recognition of specifications by the machinery owners.
