The eligibility for the Youth Tomorrow Savings Account is young people aged 19 to 34 who are working at the time of application, with earned business income exceeding 500,000 KRW and up to 2,000,000 KRW per month, and whose household including the youth has a median income of 100% or less, meeting certain income and asset criteria.
Basic livelihood security recipients and low-income youth (with median income 50% or less) aged 15 to under 39 who are working are eligible to apply.
The support details are that if a youth saves 100,000 KRW monthly for 3 years, at maturity they will receive a total of 7,200,000 KRW including the 3,600,000 KRW they saved plus deposit interest.
For basic livelihood security recipients and low-income youth, if they save 100,000 KRW monthly for 3 years, at maturity they will receive a total of 14,400,000 KRW including the 3,600,000 KRW they saved plus deposit interest.
Applications will be accepted from the 18th to the 29th under a five-day rotation system, and from the 1st to the 5th of the following month, applications can be submitted without the rotation system.
Eligible applicants can apply through ‘Bokjiro’ and in-person applications can be submitted at the administrative welfare centers in their residential eup/myeon.
