Starting Gyeongbuk Education Phase 2 with 'Core Projects by Department'!

Lim Jong-sik, Superintendent of Gyeongbuk Education Office, is approving the core project implementation plans for each department of the headquarters as the first approval.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gui-yeol] Lim Jong-sik, Superintendent of Education for Gyeongbuk Province, expressed his determination to move toward "Warm Gyeongbuk Education, a Global Standard in Education" over the next four years through change and innovation by approving the core project implementation plans for each department at the main office as the 'No. 1' approval after paying respects at the Andong Chung-hon Tower before his inauguration ceremony on July 1.

The core projects to be implemented from July 1 include 16 initiatives such as ▲projects utilizing advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Metaverse ▲projects for complete educational recovery ▲projects preparing for the decline in school-age population.

The "Metaverse English Classroom Construction" project will enable elementary and middle school students in the province to enter a metaverse space and receive real-time native speaker lessons.

The "School-level Autonomous Educational Recovery" project supports operating expenses for autonomous educational recovery and runs student-tailored recovery programs. A "Small-scale Attached Kindergarten Restructuring Project" in urban areas is also being promoted in response to the decline in the school-age population.

Superintendent Lim Jong-sik promised, "We will create a growing Gyeongbuk education through continuous change and innovation by implementing core projects for each department so that warm Gyeongbuk education can become a global standard in education."
