Woori Bank Implements Organizational Restructuring to "Strengthen Compliance Monitoring and Customer-Centric Management"

According to Woori Bank's restructuring plan on the 4th, the internal control inspection, consulting team, and continuous monitoring team of the existing Compliance Monitoring Office have been expanded and reorganized. As a result, teams for regulatory compliance, sales organization, and headquarters organization monitoring were formed, and team leaders were assigned to establish a compliance monitoring system.

A new "Pension Customer Management Center," which professionally manages pension customer returns, was also established. It performs specialized consultations and supports non-face-to-face pension services to maximize customers' pension returns. The center consists of the Customer Management Planning Team, Return Management Team, and Answer-Back Team. By providing specialized pension services tailored to both face-to-face and non-face-to-face channels, the strategy is to secure sales competitiveness in the expanding retirement pension market.

Additionally, a "Institutional Fund Customer Headquarters" will be created to oversee sales targeting institutional fund customers, pension funds, and mutual aid associations. It will focus on preparing to regain core institutions as main banking clients and discovering sales opportunities through government policy projects and attracting institutions linked with local governments.

The WON Concierge SOHO Sales Department and WON Concierge WM Sales Department are also newly established departments. In response to increasing digital financial demand, non-face-to-face dedicated management services will be expanded from individual customers to SOHO and asset management customers. Along with this, the global channel organization will be integrated and reorganized to enhance management and operational efficiency of overseas branches.
