[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Junho] Jeon Yongju, former CEO of D'Live, has returned to the entertainment industry as the CEO of IWill Media, the production company of the popular drama "Hwanggeum Gamyeon" (Golden Mask).
Jeon is a professional manager in the E&M field who served as the CEO of the entertainment agency IHQ from 2013 until February last year. While leading IHQ, he successfully drove growth and achieved a public listing. He also succeeded in listing its subsidiary, Cube Entertainment. In 2015, he concurrently served as CEO of C&M. From 2016, he held the position of CEO at D'Live, a comprehensive cable TV operator (SO), until September last year.
Afterwards, he joined NPX Capital, a global alternative investment firm, as a partner. NPX Capital has invested in the global content company TopCo, which operates the digital content developer 'Kofin Communications' and the webtoon platform 'TopToon.'
NPX Capital acquired IWill Media, which produced major terrestrial dramas such as "Hwanggeum Gamyeon," which surpassed a 14% viewership rating, as well as "Superior Day," "If You Are the One," and "Secret Royal Inspector."
