[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Buxi, a smart mobility company and subsidiary of Kookbo, a KOSPI-listed company, is partnering with the mobile financial service platform Toss to conduct a first-ever payment promotion.
According to Buxi on the 4th, the "First Payment Promotion" offers a 1,000 KRW cashback to 1,000 users who make a payment of 10,000 KRW or more using Toss Pay. The event period is from July 11 to August 9.
Toss is a leading mobile financial service used by one in three South Koreans. It is expected to create high synergy with Buxi, as about 70% of its main target group, people in their 20s and 30s, and 50% of users in their 40s use the Toss app.
A Buxi representative explained, "This promotion with Toss is designed to provide payment convenience to customers in line with the increasing travel demand during the summer season. We plan to introduce various services and promotions to enhance customer benefits going forward."
Additionally, Buxi will hold a "Summer Promotion" in July. The promotion period lasts until July 15, and users can receive a 7,000 KRW discount by entering a promotion code. Besides this promotion, there is also an ongoing promotion offering discounts of up to 10,000 KRW depending on Naver membership levels, which can be checked on the Buxi app.
