Wondang and Neunggok Redevelopment Project Area Land Transaction Permission Zone Lifted [Goyang City]

[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Goyang City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 3rd that the land transaction permission zone for the Wondang·Neunggok Redevelopment Project Area (including the General Maintenance Project Area) will be lifted as of July 4.

According to the city, the area to be lifted this time includes 0.647㎢ of the redevelopment project area including Wondang·Neunggok and 0.046㎢ of the general maintenance project area.

The Wondang·Neunggok Redevelopment Project Area was designated as a land transaction permission zone from July 4, 2020, to July 3, 2022, and after collecting opinions from local residents, the province and city decided to lift the land transaction permission zone.

A city official stated, "We plan to continue reasonable adjustments by closely reviewing areas where designation cancellation is necessary among regions causing inconvenience to residents through continuous monitoring of land transaction permissions."

Meanwhile, the land transaction permission zone (7.455㎢) for illegal real estate transactions in forest land within the Greenbelt was re-designated to prevent illicit speculation.
