[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Youngone Outdoor held a 25th anniversary event to commemorate the domestic launch of the global outdoor brand The North Face.
On the 1st, Youngone Outdoor announced on the 3rd that it held a time to look back on The North Face's 25 years of history and achievements at the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, with about 500 attendees including Youngone Trading Chairman Sung Ki-hak, key executives, partner company representatives, invited guests, and The North Face ambassadors.
Chairman Sung expressed his gratitude to the dealers, partner company representatives, company executives and employees, and consumers who have contributed to establishing The North Face as a national brand over the past 25 years and have jointly driven the growth of the domestic outdoor industry.
Introduced domestically by Youngone Outdoor in 1997, The North Face has held the top position in domestic outdoor sales since 2003. The product lineup has expanded, including launching the first kids line in the industry in 2007 and introducing The North Face White Label, a lifestyle collection, in 2011.
In 2005, it established The North Face Athlete Team, the first in the industry, and has been supporting the South Korean national team since 2014, contributing to the expansion of the sports base.
