Mayor Hong said, "I am standing here thanks to the citizens' new aspirations for Gimhae," and added, "I will create a warm city administration full of happiness and dreams realized together with the citizens."

He expressed his ambition, saying, "I will operate an unwavering city administration through communication and integration by gathering the strength of each and every citizen, regardless of any difficulties and setbacks," and "I will create a warm and happy city where dreams come true, centered on four major pledges."

Looking at the citizens invited to the front row of the inauguration hall, Mayor Hong pledged, "I will build a cultural city administration based on coexistence and inclusion, communication and integration, fairness and common sense together with the citizens."

Gimhae City will begin the 8th term of the civilian administration based on Mayor Hong's core pledges: ▲ Establishment of a public medical center responsible for citizens' health sovereignty ▲ Creation of a 4 million-pyeong smart logistics complex as a hub for Northeast Asian logistics industry, preparing for 100 years of food security ▲ Expansion of public transportation network centered on Gimhae through early construction of a metropolitan railway network and installation of eco-friendly trams, providing convenience for citizens' transportation ▲ Creation of youth shared space Station-G and complex space Station-L for infants and moms, among others.
