Pyeongtaek Port Authority Provides 30,000 KRW Support to Travelers Visiting Gyeonggi Sea

Pyeongtaek Port Authority Provides 30,000 KRW Support to Travelers Visiting Gyeonggi Sea

[Asia Economy (Pyeongtaek) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority is launching the "Travel Support for Gyeonggi Sea" project, which provides 30,000 KRW per person for travel expenses when engaging in leisure activities at the "Gyeonggi Sea."

This project supports travel expenses for those who subscribe to the "Itda Itda Gyeonggi Sea" YouTube channel operated by the Pyeongtaek Port Authority and complete three or more regional specialty missions at the seas of Gimpo, Ansan, Siheung, Hwaseong, and Pyeongtaek.

Participants must complete and submit proof such as certification photos for three of the six missions: visiting Gyeonggi Sea to enjoy marine leisure activities, participating in marine-related local festivals, experiencing activities at fishing villages, visiting islands, visiting major tourist attractions, and tasting local foods.

At the West Coast Gyeonggi Sea, you can enjoy yachting, boating, surfing, fishing, camping, and more. Representative marine-related local festivals include the Hwaseong Boat Festival, Gimpo Aramarine Festival, and Ansan Daebu Haesolgil Walking Festival.

Those interested in participating can check detailed project information and apply on the Gyeonggi Sea Tourism Marine Leisure Integrated Website. The project will conclude once the 10 million KRW budget is exhausted.

A representative from the Pyeongtaek Port Authority stated, "Through this event, we expect more opportunities for the public to learn about and enjoy beautiful tourist spots, islands, local festivals, and leisure activities at the Gyeonggi Sea, which is within an hour's reach from the metropolitan area."
