Lotte Duty Free Hosts Minions 2 Premiere... "Tickets Given with Purchases Over $700"

Models are introducing the screening event of the movie Minions 2 at Lotte Duty Free World Tower branch.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Duty Free announced on the 1st that it will exclusively hold a special screening of the movie Minions 2 for domestic customers at Lotte Duty Free in collaboration with Universal Pictures Korea and Lotte Cultureworks.

The special screening is scheduled to take place on the 16th at 2 PM at Lotte Cinema World Tower Superplex, which has the largest screen in Korea, with an audience of about 600 people.

Lotte Duty Free will give away two tickets to the special screening on a first-come, first-served basis to 300 domestic customers who purchase over 700 dollars at the Seoul Jamsil World Tower store. This giveaway event will start from the 1st and continue until the tickets are sold out.

To commemorate the collaboration for the release of Minions 2 and the ticket giveaway event, Lotte Duty Free and Universal Pictures Korea have set up a Minions photo zone inside the World Tower store. On the 2nd, a 6-meter tall large Minions character sculpture called Minions Kkuju will be installed at the outdoor lawn plaza of Lotte World Tower in Jamsil, Seoul.

Park Sangho, manager of Lotte Duty Free World Tower store, said, “We organized this event to offer a unique shopping experience to customers who have been craving duty-free shopping and cultural activities due to COVID-19,” and added, “We plan to continue introducing various marketing activities that can attract customers.”
