7-Eleven Releases YouTube Concert Episode 5 Featuring 'Wonstein'

7-Eleven Releases YouTube Concert Episode 5 Featuring 'Wonstein' WONSTEIN who appeared on Seven Stage.

[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Seven Stage (7-STAGE), the representative MZ generation (Millennial + Z generation) communication content of convenience store Seven Eleven, is gaining great popularity, and the fifth music emotional story ‘Wonstein’ episode will be released on Seven Eleven’s official YouTube channel on the afternoon of the 1st.

Seven Stage is a content series that holds live concerts by famous artists against the backdrop of unique Seven Eleven stores located across the country, first introduced with Park Jaejung’s episode in June last year.

Welcoming summer, this Seven Stage episode features Wonstein, who captivates the tastes of the 20s and 30s with a hip-hop stage. Wonstein is a rapper and singer-songwriter who gained recognition by participating in a famous rap survival program. He has a distinctive and unique vocal tone and has recently gained explosive popularity among the MZ generation. He is also building recognition across various age groups by appearing on popular variety shows.

Since it is the summer vacation season, the concert was held at the ‘Pohang Homigot Store,’ located in a resort area. The ‘Pohang Homigot Store’ won the grand prize in the beautiful store search contest held for employees in October last year and boasts a very beautiful ocean view.

At the Seven Stage at Seven Eleven Pohang Homigot Store, Wonstein performed his representative songs ‘Just by Being’ and ‘Kangaroo.’ ‘Just by Being’ was loved as the OST of the popular drama ‘Twenty-Five Twenty-One,’ and ‘Kangaroo’ is a song inspired by the image of a mother kangaroo carefully raising her baby in her pouch. It is a song dedicated to mothers who silently care for their children and lovers who cherish each other.

Along with the release of the Seven Stage ‘Wonstein’ episode, Seven Eleven has prepared a customer event. Until the 15th, viewers who watch the Seven Stage Wonstein episode and leave a comment with their review will be entered into a draw to win prizes such as AirPods Max, UCLA signature windbreakers, and Seven Eleven mobile gift certificates (10,000 KRW).

Meanwhile, Seven Eleven is reaping significant benefits from Seven Stage. As a story-centered content naturally blended into everyday convenience store life, it has drawn empathy from the MZ generation. The average views of Seven Stage videos reach 580,000, and the number of Seven Eleven YouTube subscribers has doubled.

Choi Juhyun, head of the marketing team at Seven Eleven, said, “Seven Stage pursues communication and empathy with the MZ generation against the backdrop of beautiful Seven Eleven stores,” adding, “We are considering various operational concepts, including serving as a gateway to announce the emergence of talented newcomers as well as popular artists.”
