[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] On the 30th at 3 PM, the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a business agreement ceremony for the ‘Job Matching Platform’ with 10 local vocational training schools at the Busan Chamber of Commerce International Conference Hall.

The agreement ceremony was promoted to expand the Busan Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Job Matching Platform’ project to resolve the shortage of technical personnel in local companies and provide employment opportunities at local companies for technical talents.

The Busan Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Job Matching Platform’ is a project that secures recruitment information from member companies of the Busan Chamber and local hiring companies, as well as a talent pool of individuals who have completed technical training at vocational schools, supporting real-time job matching.

Last year, the Busan Chamber of Commerce signed the first business agreement with nine institutions to secure a pool of technical talents.

On the 30th, an additional agreement was signed with 10 institutions, preparing a diverse talent pool that local companies practically need, and plans to expand job matching.

The institutions that signed the business agreement are Busan Industrial Vocational Training School, Dongseong Vocational Training School, Busan Da-u Vocational Training School, Shin Hanyang Vocational Training School, Busan Yale Vocational Training School, Green Computer Academy Busan, Daesan Vocational Training School, Busan Pukyong Vocational Training School, Busan Main Vocational School, and Yangjeong Human Resources Development Center, totaling 10 institutions.

A representative of the Busan Chamber of Commerce said, “With this agreement, it is expected that the establishment of a technical talent pool and job matching for local companies will gain more momentum, and we plan to continuously hold practical councils for employment linkage between participating institutions and technical training graduates.”

The Busan Chamber of Commerce also plans to hold a ‘Job Matching Day’ event on the 14th at the Busan Chamber of Commerce Hall, providing interview opportunities by matching local hiring companies with technical training graduates.
