The 8th Minseon Damyang County Governor Transition Committee 'Finding Answers On Site'


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Civil Complaints Handling Team (Team Leader Lee Jeongho), which was launched simultaneously with the inauguration of the 8th term Damyang County Governor Transition Committee, has played a significant role in enhancing citizen satisfaction even before the inauguration.


According to the Civil Complaints Handling Team on the 30th, a separate channel was operated from June 10th to allow citizens to report complaints or various irregularities that they usually found inconvenient, putting into practice the policy principle of communication and harmony emphasized by the incoming governor.


As of June 28th, a total of 202 complaints were received, with regulation and construction accounting for the largest number at 110 cases, followed by general administration with 31 cases, agriculture 22 cases, water and sewage 18 cases, culture and tourism 12 cases, health and welfare 5 cases, and environment 4 cases.


This reflects the citizens' expectations for deregulation following the launch of the new 8th term, with most hoping for prompt resolution.


A representative of the Civil Complaints Handling Team stated, “The complaints received so far will be delivered to Damyang County at the start of the 8th term,” and added, “We hope that the policy principle of communication and harmony will be well utilized in the 8th term to further enhance citizen satisfaction.”
