[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Women Venture Association held the '2022 Women Venture CEO Innovation Academy' on the 30th at the Seongnam Global Convergence Center in Gyeonggi Province, with about 150 women venture companies and startup representatives in attendance.
The Women Venture CEO Innovation Academy is an annual event hosted by the association to support the sustainable growth of women ventures and startups. This year's academy, under the theme 'NEXT STEP: Beyond Back to Normal,' explored future management strategies and shared growth know-how and visions among companies.
At the special lecture, Kim Mi-kyung, CEO of MKYU, and Hwang Jo-eun, Director of External Policy and Public Relations at Gangnam Unnie, participated as speakers.
CEO Kim provided insights for the growth of women venture entrepreneurs under the theme 'Grow with Dreams and Become Strong with Destiny,' while Director Hwang shared success stories on 'Corporate Branding Marketing,' delivering practical know-how.
In the following Women-Vengers Salon program, senior and junior women venture companies shared diverse business experiences and knowledge, and reinforced their will for challenge and innovation to achieve corporate growth.
Chairperson Kim Bun-hee emphasized, "Now is a time of opportunity for a new leap forward; we must become the agents of change ourselves, overcome current limitations, and open a new chapter for the future."
She also expressed her determination to increase policy support for women ventures and startups and to further spread the necessity of fostering women ventures through establishing legal grounds.
