[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang Red Cross Hospital in Gyeongnam held the ‘2022 Public Medical Headquarters Launch Ceremony and the 1st Off-site Representative Council Meeting’ on the 29th at the Geochang Public Health Center Dementia Relief Center for the designation as a regional responsible medical institution and the establishment of the Geochang area (Geochang, Hamyang, Hapcheon) public health medical cooperation system project.
This ‘Public Health Medical Cooperation System Establishment Project’ is a project promoted with the support of the Ministry of Health and Welfare and Gyeongsangnam-do to guarantee essential health care for local residents.
As a regional responsible medical institution, the off-site representative council meeting held on this day, which is a representative purpose of the 2022 public health medical cooperation system establishment project, aims to build a public health medical cooperation system among health, medical, and welfare institutions in the region. The meeting focused on discharged patient community linkage projects, severe emergency transport, transfer and medical cooperation projects, infection and patient safety, and mental health promotion projects.
The meeting was attended by 21 people from Geochang, Hamyang, and Hapcheon County Public Health Centers, Geochang, Hamyang, and Hapcheon County Fire Stations, National Health Insurance Service Geochang Branch, Geochang, Hamyang, and Hapcheon County Medical Associations, Seogyeong Hospital, Geochang County Elderly Nursing Hospital, Central Medical Center, Deogyusan Nature Love Nursing Hospital, Hapcheon Samsung Hospital, and Hapcheon Goryeo Hospital.
Choi Jun, director of Geochang Red Cross Hospital, said, “We will work to improve essential medical issues in the region and ultimately provide high-quality public health medical services to local residents.”
