"All Capabilities in Meta and Mobility"... Innocean Unveils Future Business Strategy Lee Yong-woo, CEO of Innocean.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Innocean announced on the 30th three key keywords: C (Creative & Contents), D (Digital & Data), and M (Meta & Mobility), revealing its future business system and strategic direction.


On the same day, Lee Yong-woo, CEO of Innocean, stated at the 'Analyst Day' held at Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, "We will strengthen our creative and content capabilities to become a company that can provide future-oriented content," adding, "Regarding digital and data, we will actively invest to provide personalized experiences based on data and experiences realized through the digital world."


In the CDM framework that outlines Innocean's future business strategy direction, C represents a new challenger in the content industry based on creative capabilities, D stands for a marketing communication leader communicating through data accumulated by digital innovation, and M aims to be a business partner reflecting changes in various mobility environments.


In particular, CEO Lee emphasized that all of Innocean's differentiated capabilities will be gathered under M, which corresponds to Meta & Mobility. He said, "Mobility is Innocean's unique value that can differentiate us from competitors," and stressed, "We will actively discover new businesses to provide new experiences enjoyed within the mobility life."


At this briefing, Kim Tae-yong, Vice President of Innocean's Domestic Business Division, presented on business status, strengthening the global network, and accelerating the content value chain. The Digital Business Headquarters explained the prospects of the metaverse (extended virtual world), non-fungible token (NFT) market, and Innocean's role together with Professor Kim Seung-joo of Korea University's Graduate School of Information Security.


Meanwhile, Innocean, celebrating its 17th anniversary this year, recorded sales of 1.502 trillion KRW in 2021, a 23% increase from the previous year, and operating profit of 135.7 billion KRW, up 22%.
