Introduction to Foreign Investment Company Projects in Suseong Medical and Technopolis Districts
On the 29th, the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority attended the "14th Industrial Convergence Networking Conference" at Daegu EXCO, operating a consultation booth to promote DGFEZ and provide information on procedures for foreign-invested companies to settle in the Suseong Medical District and Technopolis District.
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone Authority (DGFEZ) is operating a consultation booth at the '14th Industrial Convergence Networking Conference' held at Daegu EXCO.
This event promotes DGFEZ to participating companies and introduces procedures related to the settlement of foreign-invested companies in the Suseong Medical District and Technopolis District.
The Industrial Convergence Networking Day is an event that breaks down barriers between industries and companies, sharing and converging the technological capabilities of individual companies to discover new business models and create a networking platform.
So far, it has been conducted through inter-company linkage meetings, company-institution/technology consultations, and building industry-academia-research-government networks through convergence across industries, fields, and technologies.
Hosted by Daegu City and organized by the Daegu Technopark Policy Planning Division, this event saw participation from 158 companies inside and outside the region, with a total of 259 active meetings held.
At this event, DGFEZ carried out activities including ▲ introduction of Daegu-Gyeongbuk Free Economic Zone (DGFEZ) investment projects ▲ procedures for foreign-invested companies settling in the Suseong Medical District and Technopolis ▲ guidance on corporate support policies for companies settled in DGFEZ ▲ and discovery of promising companies.
Choi Sam-ryong, head of DGFEZ Authority, said, “Having participated in the event for three consecutive years since 2021, with the end of the COVID-19 pandemic in sight, we will engage in more corporate-friendly investment attraction activities on site,” adding, “We will continue to strive to attract many companies to our investment areas.”
