[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] Hanyang announced on the 29th that it is currently leasing a large-scale commercial facility, ‘Cheongnyangni Station Hanyang Sujain Art Forest,’ located in Cheongnyangni, which is emerging as a key commercial district in northern Seoul.
‘Cheongnyangni Station Hanyang Sujain Art Forest’ is being built in Yongdu-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, consisting of a total of 219 units, with a total exclusive area of approximately 12,993㎡ and a gross floor area of 30,344㎡. It is located from basement level 2 to the 3rd floor above ground in the mixed-use residential and commercial complex ‘Cheongnyangni Station Hanyang Sujain Graciel,’ scheduled for occupancy in May next year.
The commercial facility is situated on Dapsimni-ro, which is emerging as a new main commercial street. In particular, Dapsimni-ro is planned to be expanded from a two-lane road to an eight-lane road in the future, making ‘Cheongnyangni Station Hanyang Sujain Art Forest’ a commercial area adjacent to a major thoroughfare.
Right in front of the commercial facility, a park of approximately 3,400㎡, the largest in the Cheongnyangni Station area, is planned to be newly established. This park, located in the middle of the skyline, is expected to become a landmark of Cheongnyangni.
Inside the space, five art lounges featuring works by artist Camille Walala will be prepared. Through this, the plan is to create a ‘hot place’ that becomes a trending topic on social media.
A representative of Cheongnyangni Station Hanyang Sujain Art Forest said, “Cheongnyangni is a place where 10 railway lines will pass in the future, attracting a dense floating population and expanding the commercial district. In particular, a new commercial district is expected to form along the skyline, and ‘Cheongnyangni Station Hanyang Sujain Art Forest’ will be the final puzzle completing the new commercial district.”
