[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jonghwa] On the 29th, Clean Nation announced that five types of its wet wipes have obtained the 'EVE VEGAN' certification from the global vegan certification organization France EVE (Expertise Vegane Europe).
The EVE VEGAN certification is granted to products that do not use animal-derived ingredients in their raw materials, production process, or finished products, and that do not conduct animal testing. In particular, not only the products but also the manufacturing sites where the products are made undergo strict inspections by the certification body, which issues the certificate, gaining international credibility.
The products that received the EVE VEGAN certification include five types: 'Clean Nation Wet Wipes,' 'Clean Nation Wet Wipes Fresh,' 'Clean Nation All Green Wet Wipes,' 'Dr. Bidet Toilet Wet Wipes,' and 'Dr. Bidet Kids Wet Wipes.' Starting next month, the EVE VEGAN certification mark will be visible on the top of the products.
A Clean Nation representative said, "This certification achievement reflects Clean Nation's belief in value consumption for eco-friendliness and health, as well as ethical consumption," adding, "We will continue to make greater efforts to provide good products to customers while considering society and the environment."
Meanwhile, Clean Nation is striving to create a sustainable world by applying green-certified packaging that reduces carbon emissions to the Clean Nation wet wipes line and by making the caps on the top of the wet wipes from recycled plastic, reducing plastic usage by 50%. In September of last year, they also launched the 'Clean Nation All Green Wet Wipes,' an eco-friendly wet wipe that is 100% biodegradable.
