[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jo Hangyu] The Jangseong Police Station in Jeonnam (Chief Bae Seung-gwan) announced on the 29th that it conducted a work status check and traffic safety education to prevent traffic accidents for 38 exemplary drivers in the jurisdiction.
The Jangseong Police expressed gratitude to the exemplary drivers' association for their active cooperation in establishing a safe traffic culture, introduced the police's major activities, and held a session to listen to suggestions.
In particular, traffic safety education was also conducted, introducing revised Road Traffic Act provisions such as traffic signal and speed limit compliance, essential safe driving tips for exemplary drivers, and methods for making right turns at intersections.
The Exemplary Drivers' Association (President Yoon Tae-jin), consisting of 38 members, actively participates in traffic accident prevention activities by cooperating with police work during various events.
A Jangseong police official said, "We will actively review and reflect the inconveniences and difficulties felt by the exemplary driver members on site and strive to establish a safe and comfortable traffic culture."
