[Asia Economy Reporter Donghoon Jeong] Hanwha Aerospace announced on the 29th that it will hold the '7th Compliance Week' event for five days from the 27th to the 1st of next month to enhance employees' compliance awareness and to make compliance culture a daily practice.


This event will be held simultaneously at all Hanwha Aerospace business sites including Changwon, Pangyo, and Asan, with employees from subsidiaries Hanwha Precision Machinery, Hanwha Techwin, and Hanwha Power Systems also participating.


Hanwha Aerospace set the theme of this event as 'A Compliance (JUNE) Law (法) Journey in June, with ESG (Environment, Social, Governance)' and prepared events such as the 'Compliance & ESG Slogan Contest' reflecting the philosophy and vision of compliance and ESG management, and 'One Step for ESG,' which practices carbon dioxide reduction through walking campaigns. Additionally, a 'Compliance Diagnosis Kit' to check legal risks in various situations and various online events will be conducted.


Furthermore, the 'Law Quiz on the Block,' where employees directly solve OX quizzes on-site, is a program that helps them easily and naturally learn about various legal topics frequently encountered at work, such as 'Fair Trade and Subcontracting,' 'Anti-corruption and Trade Secret Protection,' and 'Prohibition of Sexual Harassment and Bullying in the Workplace.'


Meanwhile, since 2016, Hanwha Aerospace has designated one week in June every year as 'Compliance Week,' called 'June (JUNE), Compliance Travel Week,' and has been striving to establish a compliance culture through various programs related to compliance management.
