[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] I&NNA, which operates 'Ivory,' a domestic postpartum care center-based pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare platform, announced on the 29th that it has acquired the mother-customized service platform ‘Jellyview’ from MostBuy.
I&NNA and MostBuy are operating newborn BebeCam services at domestic postpartum care centers through the Ivory and Jellyview applications, respectively. Through this acquisition agreement, I&NNA will operate both Ivory and Jellyview together.
Jellyview operates the baby cam service JellyCam at about 100 postpartum care centers nationwide. Through this acquisition, I&NNA will provide BebeCam services at approximately 350 postpartum care centers nationwide.
Since its establishment in 2017, I&NNA has continuously expanded the BebeCam service at postpartum care centers to grow as an integrated pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare platform based on postpartum care center infrastructure. The service is also available at major postpartum care centers in metropolitan cities and provinces nationwide, as well as public postpartum care centers in Songpa, Yeoju, and Hongcheon.
Lee Kyung-jae, CEO of I&NNA, stated, “Through this acquisition agreement, I&NNA and MostBuy have integrated postpartum care center infrastructure and will manage the BebeCam service comprehensively. We will strengthen collaboration to enhance customer convenience and service expansion.”
Meanwhile, since early this year, I&NNA has been working with Professor Junmo Kim’s team from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at KAIST to develop a big data-based newborn customized artificial intelligence (AI) system. KAIST and I&NNA are jointly researching and developing an AI system that can analyze infants’ emotions, expressions of intent, and health status based on infants’ voice (crying sounds) and facial (expressions) data. They plan to expand this into mobile healthcare services for newborns and childcare women in the future.
